Silsbee trips up WO-S in 22-4A action

SILSBEE – Two-time defending state champion Silsbee took down the West Orange-Stark Mustangs 105-71 in District 22-4A action at Tiger Gym Friday night.

Despite the loss, Terron Brown had a huge outing for the Mustangs (14-14, 3-4), finishing with a game-high 29 points and a game-high 12 rebounds.

Nakai Arnold contributed 18 points and seven boards for the Mustang attack.

Jordyn Adams paced the Tigers (19-6, 8-0) with 26 points and had five rebounds.

Guard Braylon Bush had 18 points, seven assists and six steals for Silsbee. Landyn Tyler contributed 16 points and five assists while Devon McCain added 14 points, seven rebounds and five steals.

The Mustangs will host last-place Hamshire-Fannett Tuesday night as they continue to battle for the third and fourth-place playoff spots out of 22-4A.
