Lady Bears fall on road to first-place Lady Hawks

SOUR LAKE — The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears fell to the first-place Hardin-Jefferson Lady Hawks 74-46 at Hawks Gym Tuesday night.

Guard Chelsea Perry had a double-double to pace the Lady Bears (19-10, 5-4) as she tallied 13 points to go along with 10 rebounds and three steals.

Zaria Johnson had 10 points for the Lady Bears. Karly Rogers had seven points and snagged eight rebounds. Brielle Butler had five points and three steals while Brittney Wyatt added four points and six boards.

The Lady Bears have a bye Friday and will host Lumberton next Tuesday.
