Sowing to change your world

As we look forward to the upcoming months, what are we going to do differently this year?

If we want a different outcome, we must change what we sow or invest.

In the movie “The Equalizer” Robert McCall played by the three time Golden Globe, one time Tony Award, and two Academy Awards winner Denzel Washington is encouraging a young lady that she could be anything she wants to be. She response “that might be true in his world but not hers.”

The response that Denzel gives her blessed my life.

He told her to change her world.

For some, this statement might be bigger than what they could embrace. However, each of us can be what we desire to be. Our children can become anything they desire to be.

This will not happen unless we cultivate a world or environment that will provide the nurturing and nourishment needed to produce success. If the current state of our world is not conducive to protect the seeds of our dreams, we need to change our world.

Changing our world involves tilling the soil of our heads and hearts. Removing from ourselves the stones, thorns, and thistles that will look to steal, kill and destroy the life out of our vision.

Yes, this sounds easier said than done.

However, when we have a true desire to change, God will send an equalizer in the person and personality of someone who not only knows the effect of having a world changed but is a world changer. Someone who has the strength, skills, and strategies to cut off the head of the snake.

Change for success starts with sowing seeds for success. Sow seeds of excellence in excellence and we will reap excellence out of a harvest of excellence.

At the end of the movie, the young lady was freed from the grips of her past and began to sow seeds into her dreams.

Yes, it’s a movie, but it can be your reality.

Sow success to change your world to success.
