PRESS RELEASE — Hope all has been going well for ya’ll. We have been welcoming the New Year in – Can’t believe it’s 2019.

Early last week we received a call of a shooting just north of Bleakwood. Also, a possible hostage being held. No hostage, but we did arrest two and flew one to hospital. Good bit of meth was still on the table. Gun shot victim still in hospital.

Received a 911 call where three naked ladies were beating on the caller’s door. Deputy Sliger was given the call and checked in route. Officers from three other agencies also checked enroute. They said they were going to help. Bad news, good news. Bad news all the naked ladies were gone. Good news, nobody wrecked their patrol car going to the call.

We had several major accidents in the county last week. We all know we can’t text and drive, however we still do it. We gotta pay attention while we are driving.

Family violence is still a problem. We get so many 911 calls where family members are assaulting family members. I just can’t understand this.
