ORANGEFIELD – The Orangefield Bobcats upped their record to 2-1 in District 22-3A play Friday night by burying the Kountze Lions 76-23 at Bobcat Gym.

The Bobcats (19-5) went on a 22-9 tear in the first quarter and then went on a 20-4 romp in the second quarter to lead 42-13 at intermission as they manhandled the Lions.

All of the Bobcats received nice playing time in the blowout win.

Coy Bryant fired in 19 points to lead the way as he buried five three-point missiles.

Heston Puckett had 10 points. Valentin Catt posted nine points, 14 rebounds and five blocked shots.

Logan Risinger and Cade Prejean scored nine points apiece while Colby Gonzales yanked down 12 rebounds to go along with five points.

The Bobcats will travel to Anahuac Tuesday.
