WO-S wins 2 of 5 at Buc Tournament

WINNIE – The West Orange-Stark Mustangs won two of five games at the East Chambers Tournament last weekend.

The Mustangs dropped a 78-58 decision to the host Bucs on Thursday.

Terron Brown filtered in 26 points for the Mustangs and had seven rebounds.

Brettlin Wiley had 11 points while Terry Harris had seven. B’Jan Arvie had nine rebounds and three steals.

The Mustangs fell to Liberty 61-59 on Friday.

Brown powered the Mustang arsenal with 29 points and six rebounds. Darryl Bowens and Nakai Arnold tallied 11 points apiece while Arvie had seven rebounds and three steals.

The Mustangs defeated Broaddus 44-40 as Brown poured in 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Arvie had eight points and Wiley added seven.

The Mustangs later fell to Broaddus 47-43. Brown and Wiley led the Mustangs with 10 points apiece whil Arnold had seven. Brown also had seven rebounds.

The Mustangs defeated Livingston 77-68.

Brown muscled his way to 36 points and had 10 boards. Arnold contributed 14 points and six rebounds. Bowens had eight points while Arvie added seven points, seven rebounds and four steals.
