BC Middle School Drone program receives BASF educational grant

Students have been building aircraft of their own design testing the laws of aerodynamics.

To The Leader
The Bridge City Middle School Drone (UAV) Program is honored and humbled to be the recipient of the BASF educational grant.
This grant will allow our program to reach goals we have set for it way in advance of our anticipations! Our program is designed to enlighten and entice students into areas of industry that utilize unmanned aerial devices such as BASF and other chemical production plants.
We have been copying designs found throughout the drone education world and making makeshift items for instructional needs.
These funds will now allow us to replace these items with better products that will enhance learning ability.
Our program also explores coding and other drone design elements and we will now be able to obtain the software and hardware to expand this aspect of our class.
Of course, the cinematography is a huge part of the drone world and now we will have a chance to develop a district-wide aerial cinema graphic team.
