Second graders presented Believe in Christmas Magic to a standing room only crowd at Bridge City Elementary School Thursday night.

Fine Arts teacher, Megan Tingle, directed the magical performance as students sang, danced and narrated their tale of holiday cheer.

Principal Melanie Toups opened the show with a warm welcome and inspiring words for parents, grandparents, staff, and friends.

More than one hundred students from six classes performed six numbers including ‘Do You Want To Rock at the North Pole?’, ‘Ready, Set, Christmas!’ and ‘Blitzen’s Boogie’ capping off the show with ‘Shout’ for their finale.

On stage, students waved to family and friends in the audience, giggled and hugged their classmates, all while they performed the scripted program.

Parents clicked photos and filmed videos as students from Mrs. Maritnez’s, Mrs. Bonin’s, Mrs. Necci’s, Mrs. Stump’s, Mrs. Cunningham’s and Mrs. Fox’s classes took turns leading the group through each song.

It was a magical performance.
