LITTLE CYPRESS – The LC-M Bears utilized a 22-8 spurt in the second quarter Friday night as they pulled away to defeat the Tarkington Longhorns 68-40 in non-district action at the Hargrove Bear Cave.

Braden Bridges led the Bears (6-10) with 29 points.

Jesse Doucette powered his way to 22 points while DJ Williams drew three charges giving him 30 for the year.

The Bears will play Cleburne and Canyon Lake next Thursday on the first day of the Fredericksburg Tournament.
