LIBERTY — The West Orange-Stark Mustangs dropped a 52-47 non-district road decision to the Liberty Panthers Tuesday night.

It was already the third meeting between the two teams this year. The Mustangs (9-6) won the previous two meetings.

Labarius Spraggins led the Mustangs with 13 points. B’Jan Arvie contributed 10 points and Nakai Arnold added nine. Arvie also pulled down a team-high 12 rebounds while Spraggins had seven and Tyrone Wilson had six.

The Mustangs will start District 22-4A play Friday at home against Silsbee with the varsity starting at 4:30 p.m.
