ORANGEFIELD – Zipping out to a 19-3 cushion at the end of the first quarter, the Orangefield Lady Bobcats never looked back as they shredded the East Chambers Lady Buccaneers 64-34 Tuesday night at Bobcat Gym to go to a perfect 3-0 in District 22-3A action.

Faith Fregia led the Lady Bobcats (16-5) with 20 points.

Point guard Emmi Lummus chimed in with 17 points and seven rebounds. Guard Jacey Bourque filtered in seven points. Post Tatum Garlington had six points and five rebounds. Fellow post Natalee Smith hauled down a game-high 10 rebounds while Jayme Deutsch snared eight boards.

Tyanna Randle paced the Lady Bucs attack with nine points and six rebounds. Skylar Pinkard and Lexi Booze each had six points and six rebounds while Bailey Kahla added five boards.

The Lady Bobcats stretched their lead to 33-14 at the half and led 48-22 through three quarters.

The Lady Bobcats finished with a 44-31 rebounding edge and just turned the ball over eight times. East Chambers finished with 19 turnovers. The Lady Bobcats were 2-for-2 from the free-throw line while the Lady Bucs went 11-for-19.
