KIRBYVILLE – Proving that they will be a force to be dealt with in the girls District 22-3A race, the Orangefield Lady Bobcats improved their district mark to 2-0 with a 77-18 thrashing of the Kirbyville Lady Wildcats at Wildcat Gym Friday night.

The Lady Bobcats jumped out to a 30-5 cushion by the end of the first quarter as Kirbyville simply had no answers.

Faith Fregia had 18 points and four steals to pace the Lady Bobcats.

Kylie Elkins chimed in with 13 points and four rebounds. Joli Ponfick contributed 11 points. Lacy Leach popped for eight points.

Natalee Smith had six points and grabbed a team-high eight rebounds. Emmi Lummus had six points, six assists and four steals while Macie Adrio had six points and five assists.

The Lady Bobcats will host East Chambers Tuesday.
