Lady Bears fall to Silsbee in 22-4A opener

SILSBEE — The LC-M Lady Bears opened their District 22-4A season with a tough road loss to the Silsbee Lady Tigers 56-35 Tuesday night.
Silsbee led 10-8 at the end of the first quarter and 27-20 at intermission but pulled away with a 16-5 run in the third quarter.
Guard Chelsea Perry had a double-double for the Lady Bears as she scored 13 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and swiped two steals.
Genesis Barclay had seven points and five rebounds. Karly Rogers notched six points and five boards.
The Lady Bears will visit Hamshire-Fannett Friday.
