Golden K Kiwanis meeting

Laura Moore, a retired law enforcement officer, will be the guest speaker of Golden K Kiwanis, as Moore discusses her current job as a full-time mother of 7 teen foster children, two of whom she and her husband have now adopted.  She and her husband have formed the Anderson-Moore Foundation to assist children and families in need.  The Golden K meeting is held each Wed. at 9:30 a.m. in the Salvation Army Bldg., MLK, and Strickland in Orange.  The public is welcome, and coffee is served.

Toilet Paper Tea

Southeast Texas Hospice Toilet Paper Tea is from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at 912 West Cherry in Orange. Please bring an item to stock Hospice’s shelves for the new year!

 

Saturday, Dec. 15

Bake Sale

Philanthropic Education Organization (PEO) will host a Bake Sale at 9 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 15 at Parish Hall of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church located at 1401 Park Ave. in Orange. Proceeds to benefit Scholarship Fund of Chapter GW of PEO.

 

Luminary Service of Remembrance

Claybar will host Luminary Service of Remembrance at 4:30 p.m. at Hillcrest. Lighting of the Luminaries will occur following the service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Bring your lawn chairs. Light refreshments will be served. For more information call 409-735-7145

 

Christmas Light Parade

Bridge City Chamber of Commerce will host the Christmas Light Parade at 6 p.m. Bridge City Bank will be showing “The Grinch” on the lawn behind the bank immediately following the parade.
