Lady Bobcats put the hurt on Hardin

ORANGEFIELD – The Orangefield Lady Bobcats certainly got off to a great start to open up District 22-3A play Tuesday night at Bobcat Gym as they tortured the Hardin Lady Hornets 89-46.

It was close at the end of the first quarter as the Lady Bobcats led 19-17 but they pulled away in the second period as they outscored the Lady Hornets 31-6 to cruise to a 50-23 cushion at the half and they never looked back.

Faith Fregia paced the Lady Bobcat offense with 26 points to go along with five rebounds and five steals.

Kylie Elkins continues to have the hot hand of late as she poured in 24 points and had four boards.

Emmi Lummus contributed eight points, eight assists and four steals. Tatum Garlington had eight points and six boards while Macie Adrio added eight points and four boards.

The Lady Bobcats will visit Kirbyville Friday.
