Christmas Open House

First Presbyterian Church, 902 Green Ave. in Orange, will host its Annual Christmas Open House at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7 in the Fellowship Hall of the Lutcher Memorial Building. Let’s gather to watch the annual Christmas Parade. Cookies, punch, hot cocoa and popcorn will be served.

 

 

Pastors Aide program “3 Wise Women”

Back To God Fresh Anointing Ministries, located at 1101 W. Park in Orange, will present The Pastors Aide program “ 3 Wise Women” on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11a.m. Prophetess Tremaine MacDonald Horns, of Empowerment Church, of Port Arthur Texas. Evangelist Ebonuque Thomas Veal of the Sound Church of Lake Charles, Louisiana. Pastor Jacqueline Provost Johnson, of Beacon Light Bible Church of Spring, Texas.

 

ADVENT VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

First United Methodist Church-Orange would like to invite you to its JESUS’ LOVE NEVER MELTS – ADVENT VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. in the Family Life Center located at the corner of 5th & Elm. For ages – Kindergarten through 5th Grade. There will be Music, Crafts, Games and Snacks. Come enjoy the morning sharing the LOVE OF JESUS WITH OTHERS!!!!

 

Sunday Power Hour

Do you work Sundays mornings and are unable to attend church? Would you like to sleep in late and still honor God in worship? Would you love to attend a service rich in Worship and Word. We offer “Sunday Power Hour” from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Orange Church of God has a worship service specially tailored for those who serve on the 6 a.m.-2 p.m., 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. shifts along with “Anyone” who would love to attend.

No need to go home and change. This service is geared to embrace everyone to come as they are. Work attire is welcomed and encouraged.

Power Hour is a worship service that’s not about what you wear, it’s about “The Worship & The Word”

Sunday Power Hour starts Sunday, Dec. 2 at 3 p.m. at Orange Church of God, 1911 N. 16th Street in Orange.

 

Acts of Praise Fundraiser

St. Paul CME Church is holding an ‘Acts of Praise’ Praise Dance Ministry Fundraiser from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11 at Dairy Queen located at 321 Strickland Drive in Orange. Be sure to mention ‘Acts of Praise’ when you order and the Dance Ministry will receive a percentage of your purchase.

 

Bake Sale

Philanthropic Education Organization (PEO) will host a Bake Sale at 9 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 15 at Parish Hall of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church located at 1401 Park Ave. in Orange. Proceeds to benefit Scholarship Fund of Chapter GW of PEO.

 

Christmas Musical 

Trinity Baptist Church, 1819 N. 16th Street, Orange, is staging a Christmas musical entitled, “Good News,” on Sunday, December 16, at 6 p.m.  In this era of so much bad news in the world, it just might be refreshing to hear some good news for a change!  Please come to this free musical concert, written and designed by Lynae Ashcroft Sanford, Managing Director of the Lutcher Theater.  Cookies and hot cocoa will follow the music presentation.  The public is welcome to attend.  The pastor is the Rev. Ryan Chandler.  Trinity Baptist may also be found on social media such as Facebook.
