To The Leader

Ever wonder how Santa gets around in the marsh to visit the good little boys and girls?

By airboat of course!

Santa and Mrs. Claus have booked Sea Rim State Park’s cabin and will be arriving by airboat on Saturday, Dec. 15. Children may get a photo made with Santa beginning at 3 p.m. when he arrives on the marsh side of the park.

Bring your camera to capture the day and warm up with hot chocolate and cookies. Children are invited to create their own ornament and take it home to spread holiday cheer. Come early and visit Sea Rim’s natural beach along the Gulf of Mexico before Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive.

Entrance fees are waived for the event, or arrive early and pay standard entry fees to visit the beach prior to Santa’s arrival.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at Sea Rim from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15.

Sea Rim State Park features 5 miles of natural beach and a marsh unit where visitors may bring their own kayak or rent one at the park entrance. The park, 19335 S. Gulfway Drive, about 20 miles outside of Port Arthur and just past Sabine Pass, Texas, features boardwalks to get you close to nature, stunning views and birding opportunities, primitive and RV camping and a Marsh Unit cabin that sleeps up to 6.
