Bridges’ big night sparks Bears past Liberty

LITTLE CYPRESS – The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears nailed down their first win of the season with a 66-57 win over the Liberty Panthers at the Bear Cave Tuesday night.

The Bears (1-4), behind the sharp-shooting of Braden Bridges, outscored the Panthers 19-9 in the fourth period to pull away for the win. Bridges poured in a whopping season-high 42 points in an amazing performance.

Jackson Smith had 11 points for the Bears, who will be at the Nederland Tournament this week,
