PRESS RELEASE — Hope everyone had a great Turkey Day. We stayed bowed up Turkey Day and Black Friday.

Tuesday and Wednesday night two 17-year-old and a 15-year-old went on a rampage in the Bleakwood area. They broke into at least 10 cars and stole all kinds of stuff. By the way they called it “car hopping”. We have recovered 5 pistols, power tools, and a purse. Small amounts of cash were also taken.

They got bored with “car hopping”, they then stole at least two side by side ATV’S and a 2017 VW bug. They wrecked the bug and left it in the woods. We received the VW and the two side by sides.

They broke into two vehicles in Jasper County on Bon Ami road. More car hopping, stole two fifths of Crown Royal out of one car and two cartons of cigarettes from another. They are all in custody. Special thanks to Kirbyville Police Department officer, Josh Hancock for all your help.

We got a call were a neighbor’s dog was shot. Lady said she shot dog because it had killed four of her chickens. We are still investigating.

We have three reports of bullet holes either in a house, tractor windshield, and passenger window of a car. Hunting club close to all three. Wow, we have to be more careful than that.

Gotta Go. Thought for the week. Even if you are on the right track, you’ll get run over, if you just sit there. Ya’ll have a great week and if we can help, just holler. God Bless.
