Sipping and shopping with Christmas at the Depot

Are you ready to ‘Sip and Shop’?

Ready to ‘Jingle and Mingle’?

Tickets are going fast as the holiday season kicks off with Christmas at the Depot from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2.

Vendors will each have a table with their holiday gifts to sell to make holiday shopping a little easier. Christmas arrangements, fashions, jewels, sweets and more will be available for your shopping pleasure.
Mimosas, punch, and treats will be available as well.

Door prizes will be awarded every 15 minutes.

Tickets are a $20 donation will go towards the next phase of the Depot.

The next phase is planning the exhibits for the museum, which will spotlight those industries, which propelled Orange in its early history: railroad, transportation shipbuilding, timber, and petrochemicals/.

The Orange Train Depot will continue to be a community event space.

Restored to its former glory, the Depot will serve as a museum, educational facility and a Welcome Center for Historic Downtown Orange—a multi-purpose gathering place where locals and visitors can come together to learn about the history and culture of the area—as well as a community space usable by other community or public organizations and individuals for events and conferences, according to its official website.

The mission of the Friends of the Orange Depot is to maintain and preserve the Orange Train Depot Museum as a historical venue for the benefit of the community, where residents and visitors can gather to engage with one another and learn more about local history and culture.

Tickets for the event are available by contacting volunteers with the Orange Train Depot – Trish Stroud, Lila Speck, Diana Hill, Cecil Brooms, Alicia Booker, Katherine Frey, and Rose Simar.
