Bobcats motor past Longhorns, 76-41

FANNETT – The Orangefield Bobcats strolled past the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns in dominating fashion Tuesday in a 76-41 road win.

The Bobcats built a 35-26 edge and then pulled away from the Longhorns with a 19-2 spurt in the third quarter.

Post Valentin Catt had a huge outing with a big double-double. Catt finished with 19 points, snared 13 rebounds, blocked six shots and had five assists to fill up the stat sheet.

Tyrone Waggoner chimed in with 10 points and had five rebounds and four steals. Logan Risinger had nine points and seven rebounds. Cade Prejean chipped in with nine points and five steals. Coy Bryant contributed eight points while Colby Gonzales had six points and five boards.

The Bobcats return home Tuesday to host the Lumberton Raiders.
