KOUNTZE — The West Orange-Stark Mustangs cruised to a season-opening 87-26 road win against the Kountze Lions Friday night, handing coach William Barstow his first ever win as the Mustang coach.

Labarius Spraggins paced the Mustang attack with 26 points.

Jordan Johnson filtered in 19 points for WO-S while Jalen Jefferson tallied 12 points and Terron Brown added 11.

The Mustangs will visit La Grange (La.) on Monday.
