Free Rides to the Polls

The Orange County Democratic Party is offering free rides to the polls in Orange County on Election Day, Tuesday, November 6.The service will be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Voters needing a ride should call 419-777-6303 and leave their first and last name, a call back number, and their location. The voter will be called back shortly to arrange a ride to their polling place. This is a free service and is available to all voters in Orange County regardless of party affiliation.

Golden K Kiwanis meeting

Golden K Kiwanis will host Tina Romero from Mathews’ Jewelers as she discusses updates in the jewelry store she and her husband recently purchased from Stan and Linda Mathews in Orange. Golden K Kiwanis meetings are held each Wednesday, 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Salvation Army Building Meeting Room, corner of MLK and Strickland, across from the Shell and a fire station.

The mission of Golden K Kiwanis is children.

 

 

OC Parkinson Awareness support

The Orange County Parkinson Awareness support group will have a special meeting on Wednesday- November 7, 2018, at 11:00 A.M., at the TRAIN  DEPOT, 1210 GREEN AVE, ORANGE, TEXAS 77630.

People with Parkinson, family, and Friends are invited to share in this Thanksgiving meeting.

Veterans Day Concert

A free Veterans Day Concert will be held at 9 a.m. at Bridge City Intermediate Gymnasium at 1029 West Roundbunch Road in Bridge City. There will be a reception for all veterans following the concert.

 

Designer Purse Bingo

Bridge City Chamber of Commerce is hosting Designer Purse Bingo. This event starts at 5:30 p.m. with bingo starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets include bingo sheets for each game, 2 drink tickets and all access to the taco/nacho bar. Designer Purse Bingo will be held at Bridge City Community Center located at 1440 West Roundbunch Road in Bridge City.
