ORANGEFIELD — The Orangefield Bobcats took out some frustration by blowing out the Warren Warriors 56-0 on Senior Night in their home finale in District 12-3A Division I action Friday night.

The Bobcats (5-4, 2-4), even though they will miss the playoffs for the first time since 2012, are looking to finish out the year strong with one game remaining as they completely dominated the winless Warriors (0-9, 0-6).

Orangefield struck quickly as fullback Blake Bradley capped off a nice drive with a one-yard touchdown run to make it 7-0 with 8:24 left in the first quarter after kicker Derek Glaze’s extra-point.

A little more than five minutes later Bradley would do the honors again, this time bruising his way through the Warrior defense for a nine-yard touchdown jaunt with 2:35 left in the first quarter.

The Bobcats got their air game going early in the third quarter as sophomore quarterback Gunner Jones capped off a lengthy drive with a two-yard touchdown toss to Logan Gipson with 8:08 in the first half.

Speedy back Kaiden Dubose got into the act as he shredded the Warren defense for a 14-yard touchdown gallop with 1:04 remaining in the half.

Kadeon Evans made it 35-0 halfway through the third quarter when he bolted his way into the end zone from eight yards out.

The Bobcats continued to wear down the Warriors with their running attack. Kent Michael broke free on a eight-yard touchdown jaunt midway through the fourth quarter and Jones capped off the well-oiled night when he broke through on a on-yard touchdown run with just under three minutes to play.

There were plenty of high-scoring games throughout the night in 12-3A action Friday.

First-place Woodville(9-0, 6-0) went on the road and roughed up Kirbyville (1-8, 1-5). Buna (7-2, 4-2) surprisingly trampled Hardin (7-2, 4-2) 70-14 and East Chambers (8-1, 5-1) buried Anahuac (3-6, 2-4) 57-21.

The Bobcats will close out their regular season on the road at Anahuac next week while the Warriors visit East Chambers.
