To The Leader
St. Mary Catholic School’s Art Club is co-sponsoring a humanitarian project with GiGi Morel.
Morel is a twelve-year-old girl from Houston Texas with a mission. Her mission is to help the neediest children in Honduras. For three years she has been collecting school supplies and shipping them to students, allowing them to continue with their educational studies in poverty-stricken areas of this country.
GiGi is not able to attend school because of a medical condition and yet she graciously donates time and efforts to generate success with this huge undertaking for children in Honduras. She has brightened her life by helping others and brightens other lives as well. This program was founded after her illness was diagnosed.
