SEGUIN — Former West Orange-Stark standout Keyshawn Holman and his Texas Lutheran Bulldogs improved to 5-1 overall, 4-1 in American Southwest Conference play by downing East Texas Baptist last weekend.
Holman, a sophomore, has played a key role for the Bulldogs’ defensive success. The 5-8, 190-pound linebacker has been involved in 25 tackles, three of them for losses, and has two sacks for the season.
Holman was a key cog for WO-S during the 2014-16 campaigns on the defensive side of the ball, helping lead the Mustangs to two straight Class 4A Division II state crowns as a junior and senior.
The Bulldogs will look to continue their winning ways this week when they visit Hardin-Simmons.
