LaQuetta Jones –Marshall was born in Orange, Texas and has always enjoyed decorating for parties and events.

Elegant Star Events is an event planning and decorating business she has dedicated herself to since 2015.

“It is my desire to make a moment last a lifetime,” Marshall said.

Elegant Star Events specializes in weddings, bridal parties, baby showers, children’s’ birthday parties, birthdays, graduations, events etc.

In May 2015, she hosted her first Mother’s Day Event where it highlighted about women’s empowerment and motherhood.

“I wanted to do something to show acknowledgment to our mothers,” Marshall said.

Marshall shares how her own mother was absent in her life and which is the reason she fights so hard to be the best mother she can to her children.

“I want to show my children how much I love them and that I am there for them always,” she added.

Elegant Star Events not only is a business that mainly focuses on decorating etc., but a business where Marshall wanted to create something where women can be themselves.

“While embarking on my new journey, I have experienced ups and downs, not sure if I would succeed or fail. Unwavering, I will work hard until I achieve my goals,” Marshall said.

In May 2017, Marshall greatly shares how God blessed her and her husband with a baby boy and for this she says how it has motivated her to be stronger and be more driven.

“I take the experiences I have embarked as learning life lessons,” Marshall said. “I am blessed for all of my mistakes and blessings.”
