LUMBERTON — The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears evened up their District 22-4A mark by slipping past the Lumberton Lady Raiders 22-25, 25-22, 25-20, 20-25, 15-10.

Ally White led the Lady Bears (20-16, 4-4) with 15 kills and an amazing 16 blocks. Chelsea Perry had nine kills while Renna Toomey had four.

Morgan Weaver set up the offense well with 22 assists while Caitlin Woods had 19.

White also led the way with 19 digs while Toomey had 17 and Brielle Butler contributed 11.

Perry led the way with six aces while Woods, Toomey and Weaver added three apiece.

The Lady Bears will visit Bridge City Friday.
