Orange County Disaster Rebuild is offering Orange County restaurants an opportunity to expand their customer base and sales opportunities this holiday season.

The non-profit is hosting a fundraiser called Taste of the Holidays from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, at the Orange County Convention and Expo Center on Farm to Market Road 1442 in Orange.

“We are trying to go door to door to let local restaurants know about the event,” Chairman of the Fundraising Committee James Scales said. “I can’t get to every one this way.”

The event is not just about raising funds to assist individuals and families who have unmet needs from any natural or man-made disaster, but also a way to promote Orange County businesses as well.

“We will only have Orange County businesses there,” Scales said. “This will also help promote the local businesses we have here.”

Businesses will also be able to share their holiday menus with the ability to take pre-orders for the holiday season.

The deadline for businesses to register for the event is Wednesday, October 17, 2018. To register complete the registration form and mail it to Orange County Disaster Rebuild, 11475-C, FM 1442, Orange, Texas 77630 or email it to jscales@co.orange.tx.us

Tickets to attend the event and enjoy the many tastes of the holidays will be available closer to the date of the event.
