The fourth graders in Samantha Guthrie’s class at Pine Forest Elementary in Vidor demonstrated that they have hearts of gold. They each wrote a note to students in the Carolinas and then they decided they wanted to do a Comeback Cooler. With just two days notice, they were able to collect many items to put into the cooler to send to those flooded during Hurricane Florence.
