Doesn’t expecting the unexpected make the unexpected expected?  We had a great meeting at the Guild, on September 11, just as we expected.

For those of you who have not heard, the Guild has a new mystery-writing project.  It was in the Library, with the candlestick and Professor Plum.  Well, not that expected.

We are collectively writing a short story that we can submit to the Mystery Writers contest under the Guilds name.  If you plan on attending next month (Oct. 9), please think about how and why the character was killed, witty scenarios, etc.  We’d love to have your input.  Thanks for those who did participate!  We are off to a very good start.

We also discussed some housekeeping items, and the local high school writing contest that the Guild is sponsoring.  We will need lots of eyes to read these when they are submitted to the Guild.

We meet the first Tuesday of every month from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and we hope to see you next month at our new location.  Our new location is at the City of Orange Neighborhood Facility Community Room, located at 303 N. 8th Street in Orange, Texas.

Please call 409 988-2588 for any questions.  Or you can email kstevens@gt.rr.com.
