PRESS RELEASE — It can go from biscuits to toast in a second around here. Let’s see what’s been going on.

Saturday was great until about 7:30 p.m. We got a 911 call about an assault were someone was shot in the side. Several witnesses and their stories differ. We are still investigating. Victim going to be ok. More to come later.

We recovered an abandoned four-wheeler that had a shotgun on it. Looked like it had been abandoned all night. Anyone know anything about this, give us a call. The four-wheeler was located on County Road 4191 in the Deweyville area.

Calcasieu Parish called for assistance at Jay’s Club across state line at Deweyville. Big fight. A lot of us guys who were raised around can identify with that call. Been there and done that.

I would like to remind all the hunters to be safe when you are zeroing your rifle in. Every year in Texas someone gets injured as a result of zeroing deer rifles in. Remember, know your target, your back stop and beyond.

Gotta Go. Thought for the week. The only time a woman really succeeds in changing a man is when he is a baby. Ya’ll have a great week and if we can help, just holler.

God Bless.
