Orange Police were on the search for a man armed with pruning sheers after he demanded money from the register Thursday.

A possible robbery was reported at Crawdad’s located at 12099 Farm to Market road 1442 at approximately 12:45 a.m.

Upon officers arrival, it was determined that a male wearing a red and white mask and exhibiting a pair of pruning shears, demanded money from the register.

He took the register’s cash drawer and fled the scene.

Orange Police Department with the assistance of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, David Brent Price, the suspect, was located and arrested a short time later.

The cash drawer and its contents were also recovered.
