LITTLE CYPRESS — The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears cruised past the Bridge City Lady Cardinals in district action at the Bear Cave Tuesday night, rolling to a 25-8, 25-13, 25-12 victory.

Ally White paced the Lady Bears (18-13, 2-1) at the net with 12 kills while Kodee Ferguson and Krystal Lester added three apiece.

Caitlin Woods led the Lady Bears with 11 assists while Morgan Weaver contributed nine.

Renna Toomey posted 16 digs while Weaver had 10 and White and Brielle Butler each added eight. White also notched eight blocks while Chelsea Perry had two. Woods and Perry each collected three aces.

The Lady Cardinals (0-4 in district) will visit Lumberton Friday while the Lady Bears host West Orange-Stark.
