To The Leader

Please read the message below from Pastor Cody Hogden to see how you can help.

Florence Relief – We need your help!

Hey friends… we’re taking a trip to the Carolinas soon and are needing some help. One year ago we had two unacquainted men (one from North Carolina and one from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina) help our community tremendously after Hurricane Harvey. Sheriff Harwood delivered two 18-wheelers to our distribution center full of supplies and Jimbo spent weeks here mudding out houses in Orangefield.

We’re teaming up with Sheriff Hardwood and NC/SC local ministries to help those in need.

We will collect supplies Monday the 17 through Thursday the 20 from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. Drop off location will be our gym (at the back of the building).

We would like to collect and deliver some specific supplies to bring as soon as we can.

Items needed:

  • Totes
  • Cleaning Buckets (Lowes…Home Depot 5 gallon buckets) filled with..
  • Masks
  • Small Crowbars
  • Razor Knives and Blades
  • Cleaning Supplies
  • Gloves
  • Brooms
  • Dust Pans

Also…

  • Dog Food
  • Cat Food

Supply Drop off times:

Monday through Thursday 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Supply Drop off location:

FBC Orangefield Gym

9788 FM 105

Orange, TX 77630

Lastly, we’re bringing gift cards and donations as well. You can drop off donations (checks made out to FBC Orangefield) and/or gift cards to the church office anytime Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

One more thing, we would love to put some encouraging letters in the buckets. You can write and drop off those letters and we will stuff the buckets with love!
