Orange Police are investigating how a man was shot while sitting inside a residence on the couch. Officers responded to the 1100 block of 11th Street in Orange Sunday afternoon at approximately 2:50 p.m. in reference to shots fired.
According to Orange Police Lieutenant G. Keaton, a 911 caller advised that several shots had been fired in the area. Upon arrival on scene, officers found a male victim with a gunshot wound.
The victim was assessed on scene by first responders and transported to St. Elizabeth hospital in non-life threatening condition.
The case remains under investigation by the Orange Police Detective Division, any one with information can contact Detectives at 409-883-1095.
Officer L. Holland is the initial investigator and Detective T. Pruitt is the lead investigator.
