LITTLE CYPRESS — The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears ran their district record to 1-1 Friday night by downing the Lumberton Lady Raiders 27-25, 27-25, 25-23 at the Bear Cave.

Renna Toomey and Raley Broussard led the Lady Bears with nine kills apiece while Ally White had six and Kodee Ferguson five.

Toomey led the way with 24 digs while Broussard chimed in with 21 and White had 13.

Chelsea Perry notched six blocks while White had four and Morgan Weaver two.

Caitlin Woods set up the offense with 17 assists while Weaver had 16. Broussard and White had two aces apiece.

The Lady Cardinals will host Bridge City (0-3 in district) Tuesday.
