The saga surrounding Earl Thomas, a West Orange-Stark standout and 2006 graduate, appears to be over.

The All-Pro Safety will report to Seahawks’ practice Wednesday, according to multiple reports. Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network said Thomas will play out the final year of his deal in Seattle and that the team plans to wipe away “almost all” of his fines.

ESPN was first to break the news.

Thomas appeared to confirm the news in an Instagram post Wednesday morning, ending a contract holdout that has spanned months.

“I’ve never let my teammates, city or fans down as long as I’ve lived and don’t plan on starting this weekend,” Thomas wrote. “With that being said, the disrespect has been well noted and will not be forgotten. Father Time may have an undefeated record but best believe I plan on taking him into triple overtime when it comes to my career.”

The Seahawks play the Denver Broncos in Week 1 of the regular season on Sunday.
