Both the Orangefield Lady Bobcats and Bridge City Lady Cardinals fell in tough non-district matches Tuesday night.

The Lady Bobcats dropped a 25-15, 26-24, 25-20 decision to the Hardin-Jefferson Lady Hawks.

Bailee Click led the Lady Bobcats with eight kills while Faith Fregia had six and Madison Greenway four.

Mackenzie Davis posted 11 assists while Tiffany Ciangalione added eight. Lily Saucedo notched 18 digs while Fregia added 15.

Orangefield will compete in the YMBL Tournament Thursday and Saturday in Beaumont and will host Warren in their district opener Friday.

The Lady Cardinals fell to the Liberty Lady Panthers in four games, 25-20, 20-25, 25-18, 25-19. Rylee Oceguera paced the Lady Cardinal attack with 18 kills.

The Lady Cardinals will open up district play Friday at Hamshire-Fannett.

Also, LC-M defeated Sulphur in four games Tuesday night but no stats were provided by the LC-M coaching staff. The Lady Bears will also compete in the YMBL Tournament Thursday and Saturday.
