BEAUMONT — The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears zipped past the Beaumont United Lady Timberwolves 25-16, 25-15, 25-8 in non-district action at Timberwolves Gym Friday night.

Renna Toomey led the Lady Bears (5-3) with 12 kills. Ally White notched 10 kills while Chelsea Perry had six and Krystal Lester had five.

Morgan Weaver set up the offense well with 19 assists while Caitlin Woods added nine.

Raley Broussard led the way with 17 digs while Toomey had 10 and Weaver added seven. White claimed six aces and four blocks. Zoe Levens claimed three aces and Perry added two blocks.

The Lady Bears visit Port Arthur Memorial Tuesday.
