We have been busy all week. Things were quite until Tuesday when I got back from the Sheriff’s Association training conference. Then Bam!

We received a report of a house fire. Once the firemen got the fire out, our fears were confirmed, a body was found. The boyfriend said his girlfriend was inside. More to the story, we arrested him for capital murder.

Deputy Blueitt got into a chase with a drunk driver. Deputy got him stopped and arrested. When they got him to the jail he fell to the floor. Instead of trying to get up, her curled up and went to sleep.

We arrested several people this week on assault family violence. This is such a problem for us. I get so many calls saying we arrested the wrong one. Family violence is a lose lose situation for both, us and the people involved. No winners!

Received a call where neighbor hauled another neighbor’s steer to sale barn. Seems steer didn’t know here he belonged. Hope it works out.
