PRESS RELEASE — On July 26^th, 2018 at approximately 6:00 a.m., officers of the Lake Charles Police Department responded to a robbery at Smokers Heaven at 1028 Belden Street. The investigation revealed that the suspect struck the clerk with a beer bottle and stole cash from the register. The suspect is a thin black male in a white sleeveless t-shirt and blue shorts. He was in a black SUV, possibly a Mitsubishi Outlander, driven by a tall, black male with a beard wearing a black t-shirt and tan pants.
