This weekend, Saturday, July 14 and Sunday, July 15, a new event comes to Orange : “Rumble on the River”. This will be a jet ski racing event presented by the Orange Convention & Visitors Bureau and TX H2O Racing.

This first-ever event will be at the City of Orange Boat Ramp beginning at 10 A.M. each day and, as is the case with many of the river events, will be free to the public, and family-friendly. Anywhere from 50 to 75 racers from Texas, Florida, Alabama, Oklahoma, Mississippi and Georgia are expected to participate in “Rumble on the River”.

“The Orange Convention & Visitors Bureau is excited to bring ‘Rumble on the River’ to the City of Orange.  Spectators can expect Rumble on the River to be a high energy event that is sure to provide entertainment for all ages,” said Hillary Haynes, Social Media Coordinator for the CVB.

“We are striving to bring a wider variety of events to the City for locals and visitors to come out and enjoy.”

Concessions and kids’ activities will be available on site. The public is invited to bring their own seating and ice chests, however pets will not be allowed.
