Burke qualifies for Texas Junior Am

Little Cypress-Mauriceville sophomore-to-be golfer Jack Burke snagged a nice summer highlight as he recently shot a 74 to qualify for one of the two qualifier spots for the 92nd Texas Junior Am at Summit Rock Golf Course in Horseshoe Bay July 22-25.
It’s been an amazing 2018 run for Burke as he finished 11th at the Class 4A State Tournament during a tremendous freshman season for the Bears.
Burke won seven tournaments during the season, including the District 22-4A title, and was second in three other events, including the Class 4A Region III Tournament that qualified him for the State Tournament.
