A 15-year-old male crashed his mother’s 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, Saturday afetrnoon, on the railroad tracks in the 3500 block of Masonic Drive in Orange.

According to Orange Police Officer J. Kirkpatrick, the teen stated, “He lost control of the vehicle and went through the ditch and landed on the railroad tracks.”

The mother of the juvenile arrived on the scene and made contact with the officer. During a warrant check of the mother, it was revealed she had three outstanding warrants. The mother was placed in custody.

The juvenile was released to his stepfather.
