The Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls from May 7 – May 20, 2018:

 

Monday, May 7

  • Theft at the 6000 block of West Freeway in Rose City.
  • Injured animal at the 3500 block of Terry in Orange.
  • Animal bite at the 800 block of North Burton in Orange.
  • Animal bite at the 4700 block of Curtis in Vidor.
    • A vicious animal on St. James Street in Vidor.
    • Suspicious person at an undisclosed location on Caribou Drive in Orange. A person with outstanding warrants was taken into custody.
  • Missing person on North Tram in Vidor.

Tuesday, May 8

  • Animal bite at the 1800 block of Navajo Street in Vidor.
  • Disturbance at the 200 block of Lawrence Road in Orange.

 

Wednesday, May 9

  • Suspicious vehicle in the area of Sparks and Sandra Streets in Orange.
  • Stolen vehicle on the 4000 block of N. Main Street in Vidor.
  • A juvenile problem in Bridge City in reference to sexual assault of a child.
    • Stolen Vehicle at the 8300 block of State Highway 12 in Orange.

 

Thursday, May 10

  • Burglary at the 200 block of Vikki Road in Orange.
  • Theft at the 3200 block of Michelle Avenue in Vidor.
    • Theft at the 700 block of Idylwood in Bridge City.
  • Disturbance at the 7700 block of Chauncy Street in Orange.
    • Assault on the 3000 block of Johnnie in Orange.
    • Criminal trespassing on the 5100 block of Jordan Street in Orange.

Friday, May 11

  • Trespass in Orange in reference to sexual assault of a child.
    • Suspicious persons at Wexford Drive and North Main Street in Vidor.
    • Burglary at the 1004 block of Gus Lane in Orange.
    • Burglary at Wexford Drive and North Main Street in Vidor.
    • Disturbance at the 300 block of Benson Road in Orange. One person was arrested for pending criminal charges.

 

Saturday, May 12

  • Theft at an undisclosed location on Interstate 10 in Vidor.
  • Discharge of a firearm in Victory Circle in Orange.
    • Vicious Animal at the 200 block of Bunns Bluff in Vidor.
  • Theft at the 400 block of Tall Pine in Vidor.
    • Disturbance on the 3300 block of Garner Lane in Orange.

Sunday, May 13

  • Burglary at the 3500 block of Brent Drive in Orange.
    • Disturbance 8300 block of State Highway 12 in Orange.
    • Attempted Burglary at an undisclosed location near Quail Trails Road in Orange.
    • Disturbance at the 2800 block of Farm to Market Road 3247 in Orange.

Monday, May 14

  • Burglary of a Building on the 4000 block of North Main Street in Vidor.
    • Attempted Burglary at the 5600 block of Orchard Road in Orange.
    • Theft at the 17200 block of State Highway 62 South in Orange.
    • Stolen vehicle at the 100 block of Owl Drive in Bridge City, in reference to vehicle theft, which occurred in Vidor.
    • Threats at the 6700 block of Lazy Lane in Orange.
  • Assault Occurred at the 10000 block of State Highway 12 in Orange.
    • Threats at the 3700 block of Montrose Street in Vidor.

Tuesday, May 15

  • Animal Bite in at the 500 block of East Roundbunch in Bridge City.

Wednesday, May 16

  • Disturbance at Farm to Market Road 1131 in Vidor.

 

Thursday, May 17

  • Vicious animal at the 770 block of Big Oak Road in Orange.
  • Theft at the 1100 block of Foreman Road in Orange.
  • Stolen vehicle at the 7400 block of Farm to Market Road 105 in Orange.
    • Burglary at the 4100 block of North Street in Vidor.

Friday, May 18

  • Theft on the 3300 block of Claire Drive in Orange.
    • Juvenile problem on the 7300 block of State Highway 87 in Orange.
    • Threats at the 2200 block of S. Main in Vidor. Aggravated assault at the same location later the same day.

Saturday, May 19

  • Theft at the 3200 block of Linscomb Road in Orange.
    • Recovery of a stolen vehicle on Sunnydale Road. Owners of the stolen vehicle were following the vehicle.
    • Pursuit on the 9000 block of State Highway 12 in Orange.
  • Stolen vehicle on the 200 block of Sunnydale in Vidor. During the investigation, the male was arrested for an active warrant, possession of marihuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Sunday, May 20

  • Fire in the 10900 block of State Highway 12 in Mauriceville.
