Help will remain available after Orange County Disaster Recovery Center closes

AUSTIN, Texas — The State of Texas/Federal Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in the city of Orange will close permanently at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 26. However, help is just a mouse click, phone call or tap on the FEMA app away.

The center at the following location is closing:

Orange County
Convention and Expo Center
11475 FM 1442
Orange, TX 77630

The DRC will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Individuals and businesses in counties included in the Texas federal disaster declaration for Hurricane Harvey and the subsequent floods can still get help by:

  • Logging into their account at gov.
  • Calling the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362
  • Downloading the FEMA app, available for Apple andAndroidmobile devices. To download, visit gov/mobile-app.
  • Visiting any of the centers. Locations of other recovery centers online at fema.gov/DRC.
