Bridge City’s Max Baker signed to compete in track for Lamar University in front of family and friends Friday at Bridge City High School. Baker was a three-year letter winner in track and advanced to the State Track Meet in the long jump last season. He lettered in varsity football three years and varsity basketball for two years. He was the 2018 district and area champion in the long jump and was recently named the Male Athlete of the Year for BCHS.
