In a press release from the Little Cypress Mauriceville Consolidated ISD on Wednesday said the high school experienced an unintentional fire drill.

In the statement: “This morning we had to evacuate the HS due to a fire alarm going off.  This is construction related.  The workers were jack hammering areas around the laundry room and the cloud of dust triggered the fire alarms.  All students were evacuated.   Once it was cleared all students returned to class and the alarms were reset. The fire department did respond.”
