WO-S Senior Jassalyn McClelland, left, was honored with a $1,000 scholarship from American Association of University Women (AAUW) Monday evening, May 7, at Southern Charm Restaurant. Presenting her with a scholastic certificate is Joan Sechler Tharp, center, Scholarship Committee Co-Chair.  At right, is Ellen Watson, mother of McClelland.  Jassalyn McClelland has been involved in Student Council and cheerleading all through high school, serving as Head Cheerleader this year.  She plans to major in Pharmacy at the University of Houston.
